Directions to -
Middleham House Bed and Breakfast
Middleham House is located on
the Kettlewell road in the village of Carlton in Coverdale, approximately 4 miles south west of Middleham, and
10 miles north east of Kettlewell. The house
is situated on the south side of the road, 100 yards from the Foresters Arms
Public House. We have ample off-road parking for cars and secure storage
for bicycles.
By Road from the
A1(M) North or South
Leave the A1 at Leeming
Bar (signposted Bedale and Leeming Bar Services) and take the A684 through
Bedale and on to Leyburn. At Leyburn stay on the A684 towards Hawes and
after passing through the village of Wensley, take the left hand turn,
signposted Carlton and Coverdale which will take you to the village.
By Road from the M6
North or South
Leave the M6 at
Junction 37 and turn east onto the A684 towards Sedburgh and Hawes. After
Hawes, remain on the A684 and take a right hand turn signposted Carlton
and Coverdale after passing through West Witton, and just before the
village of Wensley.
By Rail or Air
The nearest Airport is at Teesside
(Durham Tees Valley). The nearest Railway stations are Northallerton on the main East Coast Line
and Garsdale on the Leeds-Settle-Carlisle Line.
